Email

Your email address is used to send notifications, such as for library game availability or if one of your games is sold. The only third party we give it to is our email provider, so we can actually send those notifications.

Phone number

Before you register as a library member or use the cloakroom we require a phone number. This is so we can contact you about any games that you have borrowed from the library or about the space you have booked in the cloakroom. We have had issues with people providing fake numbers before, so you will now need to confirm your phone number with an SMS before using any of these services.

Game photos

If you do not search using board game geek, we recommend that you upload a photo of the game box. This is only ever used when displaying your game in the shop.

Cookies

This website uses cookies in two places.

The main usage is to track you when you are logged in, so we know it is you. This cookie is created when you go to the "Register" or "Log in" pages. This is deleted when you log out.

The secondary usage is to track anonymous (i.e. not logged in) users when they want to subscribe to library game notifications. This is created on the "Library" page, but only used to temporarily store your email address, if entered. We do this so you don't have to type your email each time you want to subscribe to library game notifications.

IP address

Your IP address is logged for security and audit purposes.
